This evening, international creative game changers and INDEX Award nominees will present their ideas on the future of design by using local material supply chains and digital fabrication. PRESENTATIONS
- Milo Mcloughlin-Greening – Light_00 is the winning project of the Distributed Design Challenge 2018. He used locally sourced materials and reproducible processes to design a light which could be easily reproduced anywhere around the globe. Since then, the light has been tested and produced worldwide with makers in Kenya, Ghana and Nepal.
- Agustin Flowalistik – Plastic Smoothie was started in 2018 by. It is a design project focused on accessible design and creative recycling that gives him the chance to create a positive impact on the environment. The project is an open and creative project with a very simple goal: giving plastic waste a new life.
- Ana Ferreira – Plástico à Vista is an open design project aimed at transforming anything into a mobile plastic treatment station and a portable classroom. How can we create an open source community that uses open design education recourses to change the way we deal with waste?

- Emanuele Belà – Mole Mapper is a small tool for skin cancer prevention. It can be used to self-check all skin moles.
- Nidhi Mittal – Digitally Speaking is all about smart underwear equipped with safety tech to address the issue of women safety across the Globe.
- Nikolas Kichler – vivihouse is a modular building system, enabling everyone to design, build and adapt a healthy and vibrant urban environment.
- Gisli Gudmundsson – Fang uses local wood material in the most sustainable way and teaches the handcraft in workshops.
