Until September the Tolhuis garden will be open late every Sunday. You can enjoy live music, (children's) games, chill in the grass or relax with a cocktail.
The Tolhuistuin is located on a beautiful piece of land in Amsterdam-Noord just across the river IJ, between the ferry and EYE, water and neighbourhood. It is a metropolitan, cultural stage reaching both Amsterdam-Noord and the entire city of Amsterdam with (inter)national appeal.
The Tolhuistuin is a cultural, artistic and culinary meeting place in the new heart of Amsterdam and offers a stage to new stories from major ‘city makers’ based on a multitude of disciplines: theater, literature, journalism, video art, poetry, photography, architecture, design, visual arts, music (festivals) and programmes relating to cultural and historical heritage. The area covers various architectural, historical buildings and an idyllic garden where cultural activities, events, and exhibitions take place. The restaurant THT and creative entrepreneurs are also located here.
During Sunday Sounds the garden will be open for everyone to enjoy live music, (children’s) games, chill in the grass or relax with a cocktail every Sunday until September.
