Presentation and workshop on how people in neighbourhoods get into dialogue in a self-organised way.
In the 1950s, Aldo van Eyck (architect, Team X, Amsterdam) formulated the demand for environments that connect people. He created inspiring, open spaces for children throughout Amsterdam. The project has taken up and transferred his idea into experiments with environments in Munich. The idea was to open up these environments to different people: temporary places, installations and playful experiments in which people, self-organized, entered into dialogue. In Amsterdam at the festival the experiments will be presented and participants will be invited to try them out.
