Dynamo is an organisation with locations throughout Amsterdam, where local residents can organise activities. Dynamo stimulates and supports the residents to actively take part in society.
The Dynamo Service location for Buitenveldert is located at the apartment building the Menno Simonshuis. Here, people meet each other in a homely setting. They eat together, help each other, get creative and enjoy performances. It is something to look forward to every Saturday for at least 25 senior citizens, the oldest one is 96! It is a feast every time: they are treated to coffee and sweets, evaluate the week together and share their experiences. Every other week they can do exercises, the alternate weeks are for creative activities and board games.
Join in and talk to people with a lot of knowledge about the neighbourhood. They enjoy talking to newcomers!
