Fair tourism

About sustainable and co-creational innovations in urban tourism

As a city that is dealing with overtourism, Amsterdam needs all actors in the city to take up the responsibility to transform towards a more inclusive and more sustainable way of tourism. How can we redistribute the costs and benefits of urban tourism and create a more fair tourism? This conference brings together sustainable and co-creational innovations from cities all over Europe. Starting from an international perspective, we will then focus on Amsterdam, and Amsterdam-North in particular. How can local entrepreneurs, the local government, and residents help shape the way tourists spend their time and money in our city?
