Nevin Cohen
Nevin Cohen is Associate Professor at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and Research Director, CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute. With a focus on policies, he researches policies to make the urban food system more just and more healthy. With a background in urban planning, Cohen is particularly interested in how the tools of planning can be used to increase access to healthy food, especially to the most economically vulnerable. Much of his work has focused on the role of urban agriculture in promoting health, sustainability, and social justice.
