Lizzy van de Venn
Lizzy van de Venn works as a Brand Manager for the Heineken brand. She is passionate about innovation and over the past years she has contributed to several design and product launches including the redesign, relaunching of Affligem, Brand IPA & Heineken 0.0. Based on intrinsic motivation, Lizzy started crafting and implementing the Heineken brand sustainability strategy last year. Devoted to this topic, she now focuses on how to get the brand fully circular. As festivals are an important pillar of this strategy, she is delighted to carry out the goals of the brand.
October 2018, Heineken was one of the key players to initiate Plastic Promise, an initiative started by the event industry and an initiative of Green Events Netherlands and the Green Deal ‘Waste-free Festivals’, supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management. Its mission is to use plastic in a more responsible way at festivals and events by reducing, recycling, reusing and agreeing on a circular plan within the whole chain.
