Pierre van Rossum
Pierre van Rossum is the director of the City Development Department of the City of Amsterdam. He has worked for more than thirty years for the city, on a range of projects. As a project manager he was in charge of the development of Mahler 4, WTC and Gershwin on the Zuidas, and the development of the south bend of the IJ. In more recent years he was involved in the 1012-project, in the city centre, and the celebrations of the crowning of the new queen. On behalf of the United Nations he worked in Jordan on the refugee camp Za’atari.
