Nadia Duinker is a city maker in Amsterdam, working in hospitality. She has been creative in making the city more lively, by starting initiatives such as restaurant/club Canvas, cultural safe haven Roest and Vrijland Festival.
Duinker started restaurant/club Canvas ten years ago and thereafter she initiated, together with her partner, cultural safe haven Roest and the Vrijland Festival. In the summer of 2019 their latest project, city beach Noordkust, is scheduled to open. As enterpreneur of creative and sustainable locations, Nadia is an expert on keeping the ever condensing city divers and versatile. Her projects contribute to an inclusive Amsterdam for everyone.
