Babah Tarawally
Babah Tarawally is a philosopher, writer, journalist and a former refugee from Sierra Leone. Hij wrote the book ‘Caught in Black And White Thinking’, about his experiences as an asylum seeker in the Netherlands. He’s a speaker at the Urban Talk Loving Cities on Thursday, June 20.
He will share his insights and experiences as an asylum seeker in the Netherlands after fleeing from the war violence in Sierra Leone. He uses techniques from the Ubuntu philosophy to outline how we can rise above the polarisation of black-and-white thinking in society today.
